Marijuana / Question
Published: February 25, 2003

Dear TeenHealthFX,

If I am high on marijuana and get really paranoid, is there anyway to stop the high feeling, like maybe eat or drink something to stop feeling high?

Dear Stop The High From Pot,

TeenHealthFX is concerned about you because the possession and use of marijuana is not only illegal; it is also a very unhealthy practice that can cause both short and long-term health effects. Paranoia is a common side effect that people feel following the use of marijuana. Similar to the cure for a hangover from alcohol, time is the only thing that will lessen paranoia and other effects of marijuana. If you stop using marijuana, you will not have to worry about experiencing negative or scary effects.
