Dear TeenHealthFX,

Please, I desperately need someone's help, I don't know how much longer I can convince myself not to commit suicide-please help me.

Dear Suicidal, Needs Help,

TeenHealthFX is glad you are reaching out for help - although things may seem bad right now, they can get better! Seeking help is the right thing to do.

If you are at the point that you are seriously considering suicide or are afraid of your impulses then you need to seek help immediately. You can call 9-1-1 or go to your nearest hospital emergency room. If you live in northern New Jersey you can call the crisis hotline at Morristown Memorial hospital at 973-540-0100. Or, you can call the National Hopeline Network 1-800-SUICIDE (784-2433).
