Dear How Do I Adjust?,

Moving to new places and reestablishing yourself is very difficult and can affect us more than we realize.  Saying goodbye to family and friends leaves us feeling sad and wondering how we will bear the separation.  It is normal to have these feelings and with constant change, it is easy to feel irritated and moody.

However, constantly feeling moody and "snapping" at others two years after you have moved may indicate that you could use more support and guidance.  Talk to your parents about how you are feeling and let them know that you would like to see a professional.  Perhaps talking with a counselor could help you come up with some strategies to help you adjust.

TeenHealthFX found two resources that also may help you due to your "military lifestyle:"
