Hairy Situations: Too Much, Too Little & Shaving / Question

Dear TeenHealthFX,
I read your responses on shaving the genital area, however I do have friends that only shave the bikini area, but also underneath! (So everything) Is it harmful, dangerous, or completely normal?

Dear Shaving The Full Vagina,
Shaving the bikini area or the entire vaginal area is not dangerous or harmful, it simply is a preference. If someone chooses to do something that is not damaging to him or her, then there is nothing abnormal about it.
