Dear Eye Socket Doing Jumping Thing,

TeenHealthFX is glad that you are investigating your concern. It is time to see a doctor to determine the cause of this symptom. FX cannot offer a diagnosis, but we can tell you that your eyes are very important parts of your body. Take care of them, and do not let this problem continue untreated.

Also, the eyes are full of nerves and many people experience stress responses from excessive use or strain. This may cause what you are referring to as a "jumping thing." This could be easily relieved or it could be something more serious. Without a thorough examination by either a physician, an ophthalmologist (an eye doctor), or a neurologist, it is impossible to know what the cause of this symptom is.  If you don't have a doctor and live in northern New Jersey, you can contact the Adolescent/Young Adult Center for Health at 973.971.6475.

Again, make an appointment today.

Signed: TeenHealthFX
