I want to tell my mom that I used to masturbate but I feel uncomfortable talking about it and I am afraid that she will be angry. What should I do?

TeenHealthFX is curious about why you want to talk to you mom that you used to masturbate. Masturbation is certainly nothing to be ashamed of, but is by nature a private activity. TeenHealthFX thinks discussing it with your mom would almost by definition be uncomfortable. It is terrific that you want to reach out to your mom and talk to her about what is going on in your life, but this topic may be too uncomfortable for both of you to try to discuss, and that is okay.
