Dear TeenHealthFX,
I am 14 and my grandparents fight a lot and then bring my parents into it but i have a very close relationship with my grandma and my mom is not letting me speak to her and its driving me crazy i have no clue weather or not to disobey my mom or to fallow the dumb rules what should i do please help???

Dear Mom Is Not Letting Me Speak To My Grandmother,
It’s great that you have a very close relationship with your grandparents, but remember your relationship with your parents is important too. TeenHealthFX recommends that you talk to your mom about this situation and be clear with her how you feel. Explain to your mother that the issues between her and your grandmother have nothing to do with you – and you shouldn’t have to pay a price for it. Let your mother know that your relationship with your grandmother is very important to you and explain that you don’t want to jeopardize it because of personal arguments between the two of them. FX hopes that she will appreciate the value you put on your relationships with your grandmother and with her, and that she will agree to put her feelings about these arguments aside for your benefit. By taking this course of action hopefully you will never be put in the position again where you will have to choose between your mother and grandmother.
