Okay, I have been going out with this guy for like about three weeks, the other night I got smashed and almost made out with this guy I work with, but I didn't. My boyfriend is a jealous type, should I tell him? If so, how can I tell him so he doesn't have a total fit?

It is always best to be honest in a relationship, but in this case you have some room to maneuver because technically you did not cheat. The one thing you really do need to do is to take a look at how alcohol is affecting your behavior and judgment. When you are "smashed" or intoxicated (as TeenHealthFX refers to it) you may find yourself doing things that you normally would not do. If this is the case you may want to talk to a professional about your alcohol use.
If this was a one-time occurrence then maybe you should just learn from your mistake and make a promise that you will not allow it to happen again. The best relationships are built on trust. You may want to consider how your boyfriend's jealousy affects the trust in your relationship.
