Male Body Concerns / Question
Published: May 19, 2004

Dear TeenHealthFX,

I have a small lump on the end of my right testicle and when I touch it, it hurts. I was just wondering if that could be an early sign of testicular cancer?

FX is glad that you are familiar with your body and noticed this lump. One lump does not mean that it is a definite sign of Testicular Cancer. The only way to tell for sure what is going on with your lump is to be examined by your doctor. The lump you feel may just be a normal part of your anatomy, but it does concern FX because there is pain associated with it; again let a doctor check it out.
