Penis Size / Question
Published: April 24, 2002

Dear TeenHealthFX,

I have a problem with the head of my penis. It is not uniform through out the circumference. It is large in some parts and small in another. So, my penis is bent when it is erect. What should I do?

Signed: Penis Not Uniform

Dear Penis Not Uniform,

This is a very common and nothing you should be alarmed about. Your penis is like the rest of your body, nothing is exactly uniform. One of your feet is probably bigger than the other and your fingers probably do not all look the same. Your penis is not any different.

Some men have a Bent Penis or a Tilted Penis when it is erect. The penis is a muscle and there are multiple things that can cause it to be bent including injury or even just genetics. If you are concerned about this problem or find that it is uncomfortable in anyway please consult your doctor about it. He or she will be able to tell you if there is any need to worry.
