I am writing to ask what on Earth to do! After drinking Cola, my sperm comes out black! What do I do? I am so embarrassed! Will this happen forever? PLEASE HELP ME!!! And don't tell anyone off of this website :( XXXXXXXXXXX

Unfortunately, TeenHealthFX cannot make diagnoses over the Internet. Only a doctor can do that, and FX thinks you need to make an appointment to see one immediately. The black color that you are seeing might actually be blood, which could be a sign of infection of the prostate or seminal vesicles, trauma (caused by something as simple as too much bike riding), sex/STD (you do not mention if you are sexually active) or a broken blood vessel due to forceful ejaculation. Rest assured that all of this CAN BE TREATED if they are taken care of promptly. Your doctor can also tell you if drinking cola is affecting the color of your sperm, or if it is just a coincidence.
You mentioned that you are embarrassed about this, but you really need to see your doctor. FX realizes that this can be embarrassing, but doctors understand that you might feel uncomfortable about your sexual organs and their functions, and they do their best to put you at ease. If you cannot go to your doctor about it, call a teen health center in your area. Teen health centers can see teens for sexual health reasons without your parent's consent and on a low/no cost basis.
