Dear TeenHealthFX,
My boyfriend and I did something new called "dry sex" ... he didn't have any boxers or underwear on but I did... Ive been pacing the floors for three days now scared to death that I could get pregnant. Im not sure if he cummed or not.. but is there any possibility i could be pregnant. im so scared. ive never done anything like this.. please help me..

TeenHealthFX understands why you are very upset about this. Because you were wearing underwear, it is unlikely that "dry sex" can cause pregnancy, but you should get checked out by a healthcare provider or Planned Parenthood just to be sure.
In order to get pregnant, a male's semen has to enter the vagina and connect with an egg. Semen, specifically the sperm in semen are resilient creatures. It may be difficult for the sperm to make their way through underwear, but it is possible. So in the future, it is important to always insist that your partner use a condom, even during activities when penetration is not planned.
