Dear Bent Foreskin,
The foreskin is like a tube of skin that surrounds and originates at the base of the head of the penis. This tube of skin has special properties that allow it to slide easily on the penis shaft rather then being firmly connected like most skin is. Just like with any other part of your body, the foreskins appearance varies from person to person. Yours sounds pretty normal, but if you are still uncomfortable about it you can have your doctor examine it. This can alleviate any worries that you may have and make sure everything checks out. Try not to be embarrassed about discussing this with your doctor. They deal with these sorts of issues and it is important that you be open with him or her.
If you do not have a doctor and live in northern New Jersey, you can call the Adolescent/Young Adult Center for Health at (973) 971.6475. To find more information about how the penis can vary in individuals, take a look at TeenHealthFX's section of Male Body Concerns.
