Dear TeenHealthFX,
I have fantasies and dreams about the same sex. Sometimes they cause me to masturbate, but so do the different sex dreams and fantasies. Am I bisexual??? Please reply I am very confused.

It is impossible for TeenHealthFX to determine your sexual preferences, only you can know how it is that you feel and what you prefer in a partner. It is not uncommon to be confused about your sexuality; many teens go through the same thing. Do not get discouraged. As you mature, so will you feelings. Eventually it will be clear to you what your sexual preference is. Right now you are learning about your own body as well as the opposite sexes body, so it is not unusual for both to be interesting to you. If you continue to be confused about your sexuality, you may benefit from talking to a counselor or therapist.
