What is the average weight of a Freshman (about 14-15 years old)?

Dear Average Weight Of A Freshman,

For the answer to your question as well as additional information, check out Appropriate Height and Weight.  Remember that each person grows at a different rate and your weight may be higher or lower compared to your peers.

Teen FX encourages teens not to focus too much on weight because of the constant changes in the body during adolescence. It is important to remember that a healthy weight can be maintained by regular exercise and eating healthy.

If you are concerned about your weight or anything going on with your body, FX recommends that you speak with your doctor. Your doctor can evaluate your weight and discuss a healthy diet and exercise program with you.

If you do not have a doctor and live in northern New Jersey, please call the Adolescent/Young Adult Center for Health at (973) 971.6475
