There are many advertisements in magazines and television that promise quick weight loss in a short period of time. Unfortunately many of these products do not deliver or are harmful to your health. Another problem with crash diets is that frequently the weight you lose does not stay off.

 

The best way to lose weight and have it stay off is to develop good habits. Eating healthy and regular exercise will give you the result that you want and keep you physically fit.

 

Before you begin to try and lose weight you should consult a nutritionist, nurse or doctor. Any of these professional can help you plan a healthy approach to weight loss that will fit your life style. Dieting has to be carefully monitored during adolescence because it is a period of physical growth. It is critical that you get the necessary nutrients that your body needs to develop.
