Individually, condoms usually cost a dollar or more. Packs of three can cost from about $2 to $6. In packages of 12, condoms can cost less than a dollar each. Some family planning centers give them away or charge very little.

If you are thinking of becoming sexually active it is a good idea to think about whether you are ready for sex, to know how to best protect yourself from unwanted pregnancies and the transmission of STDs, and to be educated on how to properly use condoms.
