Dear 20 Years Old And Dealing With Puberty,

TeenHealthFX would like to start by stating that we do not reply to personal email addresses. Any questions answered are posted directly on the website. We have this policy mainly to maintain a certain level of privacy and anonymity of our readers. We appreciate the anxiety you are experiencing about this situation, and hope you find the information presented below helpful to you.

As for your current dilemma, FX is very concerned that, as a 20 year old male, you have not developed any body hair nor experienced any penis growth. It is certainly possible that you have some underlying medical problem or syndrome interfering with your physical development in this area. FX thinks that it is very important for you to meet with a medical health professional as soon as possible so you can have the appropriate medical evaluations and tests necessary to determine what the exact problem is. If your current doctor has been unable to be of any help to you, FX strongly suggests you meet with another medical health professional.

If you don't have a doctor and live in northern New Jersey, you can call the Adolescent/Young Adult Center for Health at 973-971-6475 for an appointment or contact your local teen health center or Planned Parenthood. You can also contact your insurance company for a list of in-network providers or check with the on-campus health center where you go to college.
