Help! I Have The Flu And Have So Much To Do!
TeenHealthFX hopes you feel better soon! We understand that you may feel like you are missing a ton of schoolwork and it may seem impossible to complete it all, but there are some ways to help ease that stress.
Since you are home for a week, it would be helpful to use your time wisely. Try to stay on top of your homework by practicing effective time management. It's a good idea to do a little at a time throughout each day instead of waiting to do it all at the last minute. You could even catch up on some work while you binge watch on Netflix! Doing a little bit of homework at a time with frequent breaks can help you stay on top of your work and reduce the amount you need to complete by the end of the week.
Another helpful way to find out if they expect you to complete all the work before you return is to communicate with your teachers. Let them know if you are having a hard time completing the work or if you may not understand an assignment. Open communication is an effective way to let your teachers know that you are trying to complete the work but are having some trouble with certain assignments. In fact, some schools have policies that you have the same amount of days you were out to turn in the tasks.
We hope this helps ease some of your stress! Deep breaths!
