I was woke up at 2 in the morning because of a terrible headache. I had a small headache the night before but not that bad, but at 2AM i cried in pain it was on my right side above my right eye a little over to the side. I took medicine and went back to bed when i woke up i still had the headache and it was a little better but still sharp and throbbing, but if i bent over or looked to the right i felt like someone staped me and hit me with a with a bat. it was so umbeilvly painful. the headache has lasted all day and still is intense when i bend over. What is causing this??? will it ever go away!?!?!
Dear Terrible Headache,
TeenHealthFX never gives diagnoses over the internet because it would be an educated guess at best. In order know for sure what is really going on, you need to be examined by a doctor. He/she will be able to accurately diagnose the problem and recommend a course of treatment.
There is a good chance that because of the location of the headache and the pain increases when you lean over that you are suffering from a sinus infection. In any case you would still need to see a doctor since this would require antibiotics to cure.
