Coronavirus (COVID-19): Is It True I Need To Stay Inside?
TeenhealthFX is glad you asked this question. There seems to be a lot of confusion on how the virus is spread and since we have a stay at home order during the COVID-19 pandemic, we are supposed to avoid public places unless necessary and “stay home.” It does not mean you cannot go outside, especially in your own backyard with limitations.
It is critical to still practice social distancing. For example, you cannot invite your friends over to hang in your backyard with you. In addition, it would be safe to go for a walk, run, or even bike ride on your block if you safely stay 6 feet away from anyone else who may be outside too.
There is no need to stay indoors all day every day. If you are still unsure just sit outside in your backyard to take in some sun or open your windows and let some fresh air in.
