I Have White Bumps in My Throat. Am I Sick or Is It From Vaping?
Published: April 11, 2021
My throat started hurting a few days ago and I got tested for covid, strep, mono, flu, and common cold. All negative. I was in the hospital the week before for a somewhat similar issue and I had a work up. Ct, X-ray of lungs, blood tests, doctors look at my throat and ear, the whole thing. Everything clear and perfect. I was looking at my throat today and saw some small white bumps and now I’m scared it’s from vaping.

Unfortunately, TeenHealthFX cannot diagnose over the internet.
In terms of Vaping, it is possible that it causes the white bumps in your throat, however it is very difficult to know for sure without seeing a doctor. Vaping does put you at a higher risk for infections and inflammation of the gums and throat.
We strongly recommend reaching back out to the doctor who did your previous tests and let them know what is going on. They may request you come back into the office and get retested. Good luck!
