Practicing these 10 good hygiene tips can prevent most bacteria or virus infections.

  1. Wash your hands with soap and water for approximately 20 seconds before eating and each time you use the bathroom.

  2. If you don’t have access to soap and water, use hand sanitizer.

  3. Sneeze or cough into a tissue or your ELBOW, not your hand.

  4. If you feel sick, stay home.

  5. Drink plenty of water.

  6. Avoid junk food.

  7. Eat a healthy, balanced diet.

  8. Get enough sleep

  9. Avoid being around people who are sick. Most viruses like the flu can be spread through air particles.

  10. Avoid touching your eyes, mouth, or nose.
