Be 5 minutes early.

Dress appropriately.

Research the company and job description.

Know what the employer is looking for.

Know your strengths and weaknesses.

Practice interviewing with friends and family.

Mind your manners.

Turn your phone off before you go in.

Always write a thank you note after your interview.

 

Social Media Etiquette

Review digital footprint. Scroll back in your timelines to make sure there is no questionable content.

Make sure your social media accounts are private.

If you don’t want a future boss to see it, delete it.

Create an acceptable e-mail account. For example, lastname.firstname@gmail.com .

Create a LinkedIn account.
