I Have No Bladder Control

Dear TeenHealthFX,

Hi, I'm a 12 YO girl and my mom wants me to wear a diaper. I pee my pants a lot but she thinks I'm doing it for attention but I just can't stop it. It comes all of a. I feel so gross, my vagina gets all wet and sticky. I tried using pads mom gave me for my period but they don't work. She gets so mad, last week she put me in time out but wouldn't let me change clothes, help, it doesn't seem fair. sudden and it all comes out and messes up my underwear.

We suggest that you talk to your mom about taking you to a doctor to get checked out to find out why you are having this issue. There can be many reasons why this is happening which is why it is so important to get checked. If you’re not comfortable speaking to her directly, we strongly suggest reaching out to your school nurse, guidance counselor, or other trusted adult that can help provide further guidance in this situation.
