I Started Being Sexually Active, And I Bleed. Why Is This Happening?
Bleeding after sex is fairly common and is usually not a cause for concern. It could be because of lack of lubrication and friction while having sexual intercourse. WebMD also explains that some medications, a cold/illness, or other health issue could potentially lead to excess dryness which could also lead to bleeding.
We strongly recommended reaching out to the doctor who prescribed your birth control and mention what is going on. He/She will be able to provide additional guidance and determine what the cause may be and recommend a treatment.
