Is It Possible I Am Pregnant?
TeenHealthFX cannot diagnose over the internet, however, given the scenario you described, there is a very small chance you can be pregnant. recommend keeping track of your period and ensuring that you do get one next month. Remember your menstrual (period) cycle starts on the first day of your period. Since you mention it was the last day of your current period think back to the when it started and that counts as day 1.
TeenHealthFX would also like to stress the importance of practicing safe sex. We encourage all teens to use condoms every time they engage in any type of sexual activity. Condoms are 98% in preventing the transmission of sexually transmitted infections and pregnancy when used correctly and on every sexual encounter.
If you do miss your period, we strongly recommend taking a pregnancy test to confirm and to follow up with a doctor. If you need help finding a doctor and live in northern New Jersey, you can call the Adolescent/Young Adult Center for Health at 973-971-5199 for an appointment with an adolescent medicine specialist.
