Flu or COVID-19
How do I know if I have the flu (influenza) or COVID-19?
Since both have very similar symptoms, the CDC has guidelines to help understand the differences.
One clear cut way that can help determine which one it may be is to identify whether you have been in close contact with someone who is has been diagnosed with COVID-19.
If the answer is yes, we strongly recommend calling your doctor right away and letting him/her know. They will be able to guide you on what steps to take next.
If you haven’t, here is a side by side comparison of flu and COVID symptoms.

When in doubt, always call your doctor. Let them know your symptoms, especially if you have not been feeling good for a few days. You should not return to school or work until a doctor gives you the clear and says you are not contagious.
REMEMBER, just because COVID-19 is all over the news, flu hasn’t gone away.
Wash your hands, wear a mask, and social distance on!
